While old photos of major events, places, and celebrities have been digitized and published, people’s personal archives remain left buried in attics, closets, and basements. The current generation of seniors is the last generation who holds the analog photos of 20th Century and stil can say what's on it!
The mission of The FolkHistory Project is to educate senior citizens to digitize and manage their personal archives online while creating a large multimedia resource with their blogs, galleries, and books. If we will not do it right now, these priceless archives will be gone with their owners.
From the attic to the web, for the very beginners - we provide minimum necessary knowledge so everyone's grandma can create online gallerioes, publish books, and write her own blogs on FolkHistory.online!
Here Time has it's Location. Click on the Falkstory map and see... what was going on there once upon a time. This particular place was the center of the Universe for someone... once upon a time.
